Developing our own software and designing our hardware with our customers polling and reporting needs in mind, we offer an assortment of easy to use polling software and response devices. The Youngstown/Warren Regional Chamber (Regional Chamber) is a private, non-profit organization that provides leadership and business services to promote the growth of our nearly 3,000 members—representing more than 150,000 employees in the Mahoning Valley. In addition to offering our membership access to a range of benefits, from discounts on healthcare and workers’ compensation to networking opportunities at more than 100 events annually, enhancing the essential partnership between economic development and education and advocating on behalf of the business community to improve our quality of life are a significant part of what we do.

Eastern Ohio Partnership for Education

Eastern Ohio P-16 Partnership

In Spring, 2009, a group of educators, businesspersons, and civic and nonprofit leaders came together to consider a new effort to foster significantly better outcomes for students at each educational level in Ashtabula, Columbiana, Mahoning and Trumbull Counties, a pre-kindergarten through college or P-16 initiative. Such initiatives have gained national attention and have shown promise for connecting pre-school, elementary, middle, high school, and postsecondary education to create a comprehensive, integrated system of student learning.

OH Wow Children's Center

"OH WOW!" The Gloria & Roger Jones Children's Center for Science & Technology

When opened in Fall 2010 the new Center will offer hands-on, interactive exhibits that are unlike those found in other children's museums. The focus of "OH WOW" will be providing hands-on, interactive experiences for children ages 5 thru 12 with accompanying opportunities for learners of all ages. The facility expects to have a regional impact, drawing between 25-30 thousand visitors in the first year from across the tri-state area.

United Way of Youngstown and the Mahoning Valley

United Way of Youngstown and the Mahoning Valley

The United Way of Youngstown and the Mahoning Valley seeks to be the driving force behind sustained improvement in the lives of all our citizens through initiatives that promote education, income and health. Currently twenty-seven nonprofit agencies are partners with the United Way of the Youngstown and Mahoning Valley and through that partnership; the United Way distributes funds for over seventy programs that the partnering agencies oversee. In addition to funding our agencies we have created several initiatives that are having a positive impact on the community including the Mahoning County Financial Stability Partnership, the Mahoning Valley Covering Kids and Families Coalition and the Success By 6 initiative.
