John Wilson

Turning Foundation - Executive Director
As the Director of the newly established Turning Foundation, John provides direct supports and services to teachers, schools, districts, and higher education institutions to help seek and secure resources that enhance student achievement. He works to develop larger collaborative partnerships in support of efforts in the education market. He is also responsible for general fundraising for the foundation in support of other specific projects and grant programs in the local community. John comes to the foundation after 33 years in public education as a classroom teacher, building principal and central office administrator and brings extensive experience in program development, evaluation and grant writing.

Michael Broderick

Turning Technologies, LLC - CEO
Mike is cofounder of Turning Technologies and serves as Chief Executive Officer. Mike began developing applications for the first radio frequency wireless group response hardware soon after its introduction as a partner and president of one of the earliest group response software companies. Throughout his 20 years in the industry, Mike has been one of the leading innovators in the group response industry working and leading efforts in sales, marketing, research and development, as well as product delivery and fulfillment. He has led Turning through remarkable growth and to their current position of dominance in their industry and markets. In addition to his contribution to TurningÂ’s remarkable success and multiple product and company awards, Mike is a recipient of the prestigious Ernst & Young "Entrepreneur of the Year" Award and was inducted into the Northeast Ohio Business Hall of Fame as the first winner of the "Entrepreneurial Spirit Award."

James W. Cossler

Youngstown Business Incubator - Chief Evangelist and Entrepreneurial Expert
Jim Cossler officially is the Chief Executive Officer of the Youngstown Business Incubator, but is better known throughout the country as the organization's Chief Evangelist.

From his position as Senior Vice President for Corporate Services of the Regional Chamber of Commerce, Jim joined YBI in 1997 as its C.E.O when it was positioned as a traditional, "mixed use" incubator and became the primary architect of its transformation into the nationally known incubator, accelerator and managed technology cluster that YBI is today. His primary role is to serve as a mentor and entrepreneurial expert to YBI's portfolio of companies as well as to build and manage the internal and external relations and networks necessary for their growth and success.

Jim serves on Business and Computer Science Advisory Boards at Kent State University, the University of Akron, Hiram University and Youngstown State University of which he is an alumnus with a major in Philosophic Literature. With a major like that, the whole Chief Evangelist thing starts to make sense.

William Mullane

Ashtabula County Educational Service Center - School Improvement Supervisor
Bill Mullane has worked as a teacher and administrator in public education for over 30 years and is currently a School Improvement Supervisor with the Ashtabula County Educational Service Center. In addition to his experiences as a classroom teacher, building principal and central office administrator, Bill is also an experienced grant writer and evaluator. He has worked with various organizations in and outside of public education in areas of community engagement and partnership development. Bill is involved at both the state and local levels in efforts to develop and evaluate school improvement models. Bill also sits on a number of community-based boards and foundations.

Ginny Pasha

United Way of Youngstown and the Mahoning Valley – Director of Planning and Community Investment
Ginny Pasha is the Director of Planning and Community Investment for United Way of Youngstown and the Mahoning Valley. In that role, she oversees the full range of funds distribution activities including analysis and evaluation. Ginny works closely with many area non-profit agencies, neighborhood groups and programs that deliver quality service or programming and with larger, community-wide collaborations convened around emerging issues important to health and human services in Mahoning County. Prior to coming to United Way, she spent more than 20 years working with school districts at both the state and local level to offer educational programs that enhanced student success. Ginny currently serves on the Ohio TreasurerÂ’s EITC Commission, the Ohio United Way Public Policy Committee, the Northeast Ohio Community Impact Committee, and serves as a board member or committee chairperson for a number of local organizations and regional initiatives.

Tyler Clark

Youngstown Business Incubator - Chief Imagination Officer
Tyler Clark is a technology consultant, writer and frequent speaker on business intelligence, e-commerce, search engine optimization and social media. He provides strategy consulting to organizations like Covelli Enterprises, Schwebel Baking Company, Youngstown State University, B.J. Alan Fireworks and the Rich Center for Autism.

At the Youngstown Business Incubator, Tyler serves as Chief Imagination Officer, providing software strategy and services to startup companies. Past clients include Institute for Supply Management, Council on Foundations and Verizon Long Distance. Tyler's column "Point. Click. Profit." is published monthly in the Business Journal.
